Memorial Stadium turf not ready, CM Russell home opener moved to Jack Johnson Pride Field

MTN SPORTS PHOTO)GREAT FALLS – Great Falls CMR’s home opener against Helena High has been moved to Jack Johnson Pride Field at 4:30 p.m. on Friday afternoon due to setbacks in installation of the new FieldTurf at Memorial Stadium.Per Great Falls Public School athletic director Gary Degooyer, drainage problems and several other unforeseen issues delayed the finish of the turf project, which started in mid-June. He projects the field will be finalized by early next week and should be ready to play on for Great Falls High’s home opener Sept. 2 against Billings Skyview.In a release, Degooyer detailed seating arrangements for Friday afternoon’s game at CMR’s practice field:The bleacher seating on the north side of the track will be reserved for CMR fans. Temporary bleachers will be placed in the end zones for additional seating. Fans are asked to stay outside the roped off field area. Lawn chairs are allowed outside the ropes and on the track. Restrooms will be available inside the Fieldhouse and marked by signage. All services will be at Skyview Memorial Lawn, 200 Rollingwood Drive Vallejo, California 94591.Naomi was born on August 5, 1951 in Cavite City Philippines. She is the second of six children born to Esther and Filemon dela Peña. She graduated from Cavite National High School. She relocated to San Francisco, California in 1970. Naomi married her high school sweetheart, Fernando Ricafrente on November 10, 1973. Like many military families, the Ricafrente family resided in different cities including San Diego, Long Beach, Treasure Island, Vallejo and American Canyon.Naomi was blessed with a beautiful singing voice that she used by giving praise to God and by sharing her gift with everyone by singing in the church choir. She was a devoted church member of the Faith Gospel Center in Vallejo, California and was a part of their Ladies Missionary Corps (LMC).Naomi is survived by her husband Fernando; by her children and their spouses Jonathan (Renee), Nephtali (Sheila), Abigail, and Joshua (Genie); by her grandchildren Star, Josiah, Caeleb, Mikah, Isaac, Lenneah, Noah and Elijah; and by her siblings Samuel, Filemon Jr., Dorcas, Jeremiah and Sarah.
